The highest incidence of malignant neoplasms were recorded in Sevastopol Kirovograd, Mykolaiv and Zaporizhia regions (374,7-475,8 per 100 thousand population). Over the past five years has tended to reduce mortality from this disease: index decreased from 187 to 184 per 100 thousand people. Today, however, the cancer takes a life every hour in 10 Ukrainians.
Clinical observations show that despite the development and improvement of existing therapies, the effectiveness of their use is not more than 50%. Currently, Ukrainian Scientists develop new treatment for cancer patients, based on the application of nanotechnology.
